About the facilitator:
Felicity is a trained lawyer, a researcher and a child protection worker. She has worked with NGOs, communities, schools and government agencies to create strategies and programmes that enhance the well-being of families and children, and also litigated for child survivors of domestic violence in court cases. Her work with multicultural families, and being a parent to a multicultural child, inspired her to advocate for policies and support programmes to aid multicultural/bilingual/immigrant families to thrive in society and enjoy their journey. To advance these causes, she advocates for the establishment of peer support groups for parents of multicultural children, to encourage knowledge sharing, learning and communication. She believes that multiculturalism has an impact on family dynamics and parenting, and that is why society should pay attention to the well-being of the parents of these children.
