Meet Lapinlahti people: Katriina, resident in Lapinlahti area, Alvila house

My name is Katriina and I live in the Alvila house on the Lapinlahti property. I don’t want nature here to be destroyed by some big buildings. You can build hotels and apartment buildings elsewhere, why here, where we feel safe? This is a park of peace and here everyone is content. I hope our peace is not disturbed. I have schizophrenia and sometimes us schizophrenics hear noises, are restless and delusional. This hotel would not serve me and my housemates in any way. There’s 24 of us living here.

My biggest wish is that you wouldn’t come to disturb our peace. I visit Lapinlahden Lähde weekly, and it would be awful if the activities were to stop because of this. I meet nice people at Lähde and there I can be a part of everyone.
