Meet Lapinlahti people: Suvi

“I’m a social services student doing an internship at Lapinlahden Lähde. I first got to know the place back in 2016 when I attended the Full Moon event here; after that, I came back to volunteer at the next Full Moon Café and the Night of the Arts. I’ve also attended many lectures here.

I’m interested in promoting mental well-being and combining art, culture, and nature with it. Lapinlahden Lähde offers a great opportunity to put these ideas into practice.
During my internship, I’m involved in things like the steering group, planning the Pro Lapinlahti Association’s anniversary year, and developing volunteer activities.
The gallery, museum, events, lectures—I’ve gotten to know it all.

It’s been truly wonderful to be here, and I hope this place remains. It’s unique as a community and an environment.
The people who work here are passionate individuals who genuinely enjoy all of this, truly want to make a difference, and are committed to the cause.

Lähde is open to everyone and full of possibilities.
Let’s hope this can continue and that the activities here becomes even better known.”
