Tule mukaan Kaupunkiluontokeskuksen vuoden viimeiselle retkelle! Joulukuun retkikohteena on perinteisesti Talvipuutarha, sen ihanat kasvit ja joulutunnelma. Retki on kaikille avoin ja ilmainen.

HUOM! Tapahtumaan on ennakkoilmoittautuminen. Ilmoittautuminen avautuu 17.11. klo 9. Voit ilmoittaa 1-2 henkilöä mukaan täyttämällä lomakkeen nettisivun tapahtuman alla. Mikäli et pääsekään paikalle, peruthan ilmoittautumisesi ajoissa lähettämällä sähköpostia [email protected]. Jos tapahtuma on täynnä, voit ilmoittautua jonoon lähettämällä sähköpostia luontokeskukselle.

Tapaaminen klo 14:00 Talvipuutarhan sisäänkäynnin edessä ulkona, osoite on Hammarskjöldintie 1 A, 00250 Helsinki. Ohjaaja kertoo hieman Talvipuutarhan luonnosta ja historiasta ulkona (tai sisällä huonolla säällä), jonka jälkeen siirrymme sisätiloihin tutustumaan Kaktushuoneeseen, Palmuhuoneeseen ja Länsisiipeen. Retken päätarkoitus on nauttia mukavasta seurasta ja upeista kasveista kiireettömästi. Voimme tehdä myös pieniä hyvinvointiharjoituksia. Pysähdymme lopuksi evästauolle Länsisiipeen. Ota mukaan halutessasi pientä evästä. Kaupunkiluontokeskus tarjoaa osallistujille pientä jouluherkkua! Retki päättyy klo 16, jolloin myös Talvipuutarha sulkeutuu yleisöltä. Talvipuutarha on esteetön pientä ylätasannetta lukuunottamatta. Tilassa on myös esteetön WC. Retken ohjaajana toimii Lapinlahden Lähteen Kaupunkiluontokeskuksen ohjaaja Ilona Rautiainen.

Join us on the City Nature Center’s last trip of the year! The traditional destination for December is the Winter Garden, with its beautiful plants and Christmas atmosphere. The trip is open to everyone and free of charge.

NOTE! Pre-registration is required. Registration opens 17th of November at 9. You can register 1-2 people by filling in the form on the website below the event. If you cannot attend, please cancel your registration early by sending an email to [email protected]. If the event is full, you can join the queue by sending an email to the Nature Centre (kaupunkiluontokeskus).

We meet at 2:00 p.m. outside the entrance to the Winter Garden, at Hammarskjöldintie 1 A, 00250 Helsinki. The instructor will talk a little about the nature and history of the Winter Garden outdoors (or indoors in case of bad weather), after which we will move indoors to explore the Cactus Room, Palm Room, and Western Wing. The main purpose of the trip is to enjoy good company and magnificent plants at a non-rushed relaxed pace. We may also do some small wellness exercises. At the end, we will stop for a snack break in the Western Wing. Feel free to bring some snacks with you. The City Nature Center offers participants some small Christmas treats! The tour ends at 4 p.m., when the Winter Garden also closes to the public. The Winter Garden is accessible, with the exception of a small upper terrace. There is also an accessible toilet on the premises. The trip will be led by City Nature Center instructor Ilona Rautiainen.
