Villa Elfvikin luontotalon ympäristö ja Laajalahden luonnonsuojelualue Espoossa ovat upeita retkikohteita. Retkellä tutustumme 700 metrin pituiseen Luonnon helmassa -luontopolkuun, lintutorniin ja käymme myös kauempana ihailemassa luonnonsuojelualuetta ja syksyn tuntua.

HUOM! Tapahtumaan on ennakkoilmoittautuminen. Voit ilmoittaa 1-2 henkilöä mukaan täyttämällä lomakkeen nettisivun tapahtuman alla. Mikäli et pääsekään paikalle, peruthan ilmoittautumisesi ajoissa lähettämällä sähköpostia [email protected]. Jos tapahtuma on täynnä, voit ilmoittautua jonoon lähettämällä sähköpostia luontokeskukselle.

Tapaaminen klo 15 Villa Elfvikin luontotalon edustalla, osoite on Elfvikintie 4, Espoo. Retki on ilmainen ja sen kesto on noin kaksi tuntia riippuen osallistujista ja säästä. Voit halutessasi myös tulla tutustumaan Villa Elfvikin luontotaloon ennen retkeä, talo on auki arkisin klo 9-15 (la-su 10-16). Talossa on menossa vesikattoremontti, mutta sisätilat ovat auki. Luontotalon alakerta on esteetön. Luonnon helmassa -luontopolku ja lintutornin ensimmäinen kerros ovat myös esteettömät.

Retken päätarkoitus on nauttia luonnosta mukavassa seurassa. Kävelemme rentoon tahtiin kiirehtimättä helppokulkuista reittiä. Pukeudu sään mukaan ja erityisesti tuulta kestävästi. Retkellä on säävaraus myrskyn varalta, pieni sade ei haittaa. Voit halutessasi ottaa mukaan myös eväät, istuinalustan ja kiikarit. Retken ohjaajana toimii Lapinlahden Lähteen Kaupunkiluontokeskuksen ohjaaja Ilona Rautiainen.

The surroundings of Villa Elfvik Nature House and the Laajalahti Nature Reserve in Espoo are wonderful destinations for trips. During the trip, we will explore the 700-meter-long Nature Sanctuary nature trail and birdwatching tower, and we will also walk further to admire the nature reserve and the autumn atmosphere.

PLEASE NOTE: Advance registration is required for the event. You can register 1-2 people by filling out the form under the event on the website. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration in good time by sending an email to [email protected]. If the event is full, you can join the waiting list by sending an email to the nature centre (kaupunkiluontokeskus).

We will meet at 3 p.m. in front of Villa Elfvik Nature House, located at Elfvikintie 4, Espoo. The trip is free of charge and will last approximately two hours, depending on the participants and the weather. If you wish, you can also visit the Villa Elfvik Nature House before the tour. The house is open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Sat-Sun 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). The roof of the house is currently being renovated, but the interior is open. The lower floor of the Nature House is accessible. The Nature Sanctuary nature trail and the first floor of the bird tower are also accessible.

The main purpose of the trip is to enjoy nature in good company. We will walk at a leisurely pace without rushing along an easy route. Dress for the weather and especially windproof. In case of a storm, the trip will be cancelled, but a little rain is fine.  If you wish, you can also bring snacks, a seating pad, and binoculars. The trip is guided by City Nature Center instructor Ilona Rautiainen.
