Suosittu viidettä kertaa järjestettävä Koiraparaati tulee nyt syksyisissä merkeissä! Koiraparaati on hyvän mielen ilmainen tapahtuma, jonne kaikki sekarotuiset, rotukoirat ja ihmiset ovat tervetulleita. Tapahtumassa eri näköiset ja -kokoiset karvakuonot esittäytyvät yleisölle. Kaikki koirat saavat myös herkut ja hauskat diplomit. 🐶🦊🐶

Jotta pystymme paremmin arvioimaan tapahtuman kokoa, pyydämme koiranomistajilta ennakkoilmoittautumista 3.9. mennessä sähköpostitse osoitteeseen [email protected]. Kerro ilmoittautuessa oma nimesi ja koirasi nimi. Ilmoittautuminen ei ole sitova. Ilmoittautua voi myös paikan päällä jos tilaa on, edellisinä vuosina kaikki halukkaat ovat päässeet mukaan.

Tapahtumapäivänä ti 8.9. ilmoittautuminen paraatiin alkaa klo 15:30 Lapinlahden päärakennuksen edessä lipputanko-kukkulan takana (suojellaan lipputangon kohdan herkkää kallioniittyä). Saat ilmoittautuessa esiintymisnumeron. Pyrimme aloittamaan paraatin klo 16:00. Tapahtuma kestää arviolta klo 17 asti, riippuen koirien määrästä. Koira saa esittäytymisen jälkeen herkun ja diplomin, jonka jälkeen voitte siirtyä sivuun rauhassa katselemaan. Halutessaan voi jäädä vielä lopuksi yhteiskuvaan. Saatamme kysyä yleisöltä vinkkejä diplomia varten, tässä tuttuna juttuna viime vuosilta esimerkiksi “heiluvin häntä” tai “kunkuin asenne”! Tervetuloa siis myös ilman lemmikkiä ihastelemaan menoa.

Koiraparaatilla on säävaraus erittäin huonon sään sattuessa (pieni sade ei haittaa). Tapahtuman juontaa pääasiassa suomeksi Lapinlahden Lähteen Kaupunkiluontokeskuksen koordinaattori Ilona Rautiainen. Tapahtuma järjestetään yhteistyössä Pro Lapinlahti mielenterveysseuran muiden toimintojen kanssa Helsingin kaupungin ikäihmisten liikkumista edistävällä avustuksella. The popular Dog Parade, held for the fifth time, is now taking place this autumn! The dog parade is a free, feel-good event to which all mixed-breed and pedigree dogs, as well as people, are welcome. At the event, dogs of all shapes and sizes introduce themselves to the audience. All dogs will also receive treats and fun diplomas. 🐶🦊🐶

To help us better estimate the size of the event, we ask dog owners to register in advance by September 3rd by emailing [email protected]. Please include your name and your dog’s name when registering. Registration is not binding. You can also register on the day if space is available; everyone who wanted to take part has been able to do so in previous years.

The day of the event, Tuesday 8 September, registration for the parade will begin at 3.30 pm in front of the Lapinlahti main building, behind the flagpole hill (to protect the delicate rocky meadow around the flagpole). When you register, you’ll get a performer number. We aim to start the parade at 4.00 pm. The event lasts until around 5.00 pm, depending on the number of dogs. After their presentation, the dog will receive a treat and a diploma. Then you can step aside to watch in peace, and you can stay for a group photo at the end if you wish. The audience may be asked for suggestions for the diploma, such as the familiar phrases from previous years: ‘wagging tail’ or ‘royal attitude’! So please come along even without a pet to enjoy the festivities.

There’s a weather reservation in case of very bad weather (little rain is okay). The event is hosted by Lapinlahden Lähde City Nature Center coordinator Ilona Rautiainen. The event is organized in collaboration with other branches of the Pro Lapinlahti Mental Health Association, with funding from the City of Helsinki to promote physical activity among elderly people.
