Lämpimästi tervetuloa Lapinlahden Lähteen perinteiseen ja maksuttomaan Elävien ääniä -tapahtumaan lauantaina 31.10.2026. Illan aikana on luvassa monipuolista ohjelmaa, jonka kautta voi muistella poisnukkuneita ja vaalia samalla nykyhetkeä. Tule mukaan viettämään tunnelmallista pyhäinpäivää kanssamme! Tapahtumaan on vapaa pääsy, lukuun ottamatta MENTAL SPA -yleisösaunaa.
Ohjelma:
VENETSIA-TALO
Avoin Tila, 1. kerros
Klo 15.00–16.30 – Surun seremonia
Galleria Kuja, 1. kerros
Klo 16.00–18.00 – Eye Gazing Pop-up
Mitä tapahtuu, kun pysähdyt katsomaan toista ihmistä suoraan silmiin? Ilman suoritusta ja ilman roolia?
Tule kokemaan yksinkertainen ja syvällinen pop-up-tapahtuma: Eye Gazing.
Sinä. Toinen ihminen. Hiljainen kohtaaminen.
OPEN HEART
Osasto5, 1. kerros
Kesto: noin 45 minuuttia

Ohjaus: Ville Saukkonen
Esiintyjät:
- Karoliina Laurila, mezzosopraano
- Katriina Kantola, tanssi ja koreografia

Klo 20.00–20.30 – Ken Mai: Embrace of the Dead -performanssi
Lähtö pääovilta.
Embrace of the Dead tutkii elävien ja edesmenneiden välistä haurasta rajaa.
Klo 20.30–21.30 – Sturle Dagsland
Sturle Dagsland on Norjasta lähtöisin oleva erittäin arvostettu, genrejä ennakkoluulottomasti yhdistelevä artisti.

Program
Venetsia-talo
Avoin Tila, 1st floor
3 – 4.30 pm – Grief Ceremony
Grief Ceremony is a meditative and comforting space to come together, breathe, move and rest with grief. It is an ancient practice of honouring grief together.
You are welcome to bring your grief into the space — grief for what was, what is, or what never came to be. Here, your grief does not have to fit into a mould, and there is no need to force it away.
Sharing grief in a common space opens up connections with others, with this world and with the world beyond. Moving through grief together can, at its best, bring a sense of release and renewal to the mind, body and soul, helping us live more fully in the present moment. This is a space for allowing grief to move through you, while listening both to the shared ceremony and to yourself.
All you need is comfortable clothing. You are also welcome to bring an object or symbol that represents your grief.

4 – 6 pm – Eye Gazing Pop-up
What happens when you pause and look another person directly in the eyes? Without performing, without playing a role?
Come and experience Eye Gazing, a simple yet profound pop-up event.
You. Another person. A silent encounter. You decide how long it lasts.
When you sit opposite another person without expectations or roles, something simple yet rare can happen: you see the other person, and you are seen in return.
No words, no performance. Just two people meeting one another. When the mind stops categorising, what remains is pure presence.
Everyone is invited to experience what it feels like to be truly seen.
Sit and look. Let your gaze express what words cannot convey.
The encounter is organised by Open Heart Helsinki in collaboration with Lapinlahden Lähde and MIITTI ry.

4 – 7 pm – Spells for the Future, Echoes of the Past Workshop
The City Nature Centre invites you to a free, atmospheric workshop open to everyone, offering a space for creativity and reflection on meaning.
You can craft a magical talisman from natural materials to bring you strength for the autumn, write a message to a loved one in the world beyond, or write a message to your future self. A fortune-teller will also be there to read Tarot cards — and you can believe the predictions if you wish!
Wanha Labra, 2nd floor
6 – 6.40 pm – Sábanas Blancas Performance
Sábanas Blancas invites you into a soft and peaceful space for gathering, resting, and reconnecting with ourselves, one another, and the living world.
During Kekri, a time to honour our ancestors, both human and more-than-human, we come together to remember, to feel, and to acknowledge the lives and connections that continue to shape us.
Through voices, songs, and the sounds of nature, this intimate performance creates room for grief and tenderness, for remembering those who have been lost and for celebrating the life we share.
In times marked by uncertainty, injustice, and the suffering of people and nature, rest becomes a collective act of care. You are invited to slow down, be present, and experience the possibility of collective peace through listening and connecting.
Come as you are. Let us take a moment to be together, honour what came before us, and nurture the possibility of a more caring, sustainable, and intentionally interconnected world.
Only a limited number of people can attend the performance, so please let us know you’re coming by sending us a message: [email protected].
Performance is held in English.
