Lähdetään yhdessä viettämään rento elämysretki Vallisaaressa! Suomenlinnan naapurissa sijaitseva Vallisaari on mystinen luontokohde, joka viehättää historiallisilla nähtävyyksillä ja huikeilla maisemilla, monipuolisilla palveluilla ja luonnon lajirunsaudella. Noin sadan hehtaarin saarikokonaisuudesta 80 hehtaaria on luonnonsuojelualuetta. Retki on suunniteltu erityisesti ikääntyneille, mutta kaikki ovat tervetulleita ilmoittautumaan mukaan. Päätarkoitus on nauttia luonnosta ystävällisessä seurassa. Kävelemme verkkaiseen tahtiin kiirehtimättä.

HUOM! Tapahtumaan on ennakkoilmoittautuminen, joka avautuu 3.8. klo 9:00. Voit ilmoittaa 1-2 henkilöä mukaan täyttämällä lomakkeen Lapinlahden Lähteen nettisivun tapahtuman alla. Peruutukset mahdollisimman ajoissa sähköpostitse [email protected]. Perumatta jättämisestä tulee pääsykielto seuraavalle retkelle. Jonoon voi ilmoittautua sähköpostilla.

HUOM! Vesibussi Vallisaareen tulee maksaa itse: meno-paluu on aikuisilta 9,80, erityisryhmiltä (lapset 7-17v, opiskelijat, eläkeläiset, työttömät sekä varus- ja siviilipalvelumiehet) 6,80 euroa. Lipun voi ostaa etukäteen JT-linen verkkokaupasta tai vasta aluksesta. Itse retki on ilmainen.

Tapaaminen VIIMEISTÄÄN klo 15:15 Kauppatorilla JT-linen vesibussin laiturin luona. Vesibussi Vallisaareen lähtee klo 15:30 Kauppatorilta Kolera-altaan laiturilta nro 10, tarkka paikka Google Mapsissa: https://maps.app.goo.gl/FiB7BSiRNepYETjV8 Samalta tai viereisiltä laitureilta lähtee Strömman ja Royal Linen risteilyjä, perinteisiä torimyyntikojuja vieressä. Paikalla voi olla ruuhkaista, joten kannattaa tulla hyvissä ajoin, jotta löytää oikean laiturin. Ohjaaja paikalla jo noin klo 15 jonkinlaisen kyltin kanssa.

Kokoonnumme Vallisaaressa Luotsipihan laiturin luona. Vesibussimatka kestää noin 20 minuuttia. Kerrothan etukäteen sähköpostitse, mikäli olet tulossa retkelle pyörätuolilla tai lastenrattailla, jolloin jäämme pois Torpedolahdessa. Lyhyen alustuksen jälkeen tutustumme Vallisaareen ja Kuninkaansaareen merkittyjä reittejä pitkin rennolla tahdilla. Reitti on yhteensä n. 5 km pituinen, mutta halutessasi voit jättää Kuninkaansaaren reitin (n. 1,4 km) kulkematta. Virallinen retkiosuus päättyy Torpedolahden laiturille, josta lähdemme yhdessä viimeisellä klo 20 vesibussilla Kauppatorille. Voit palata myös itsenäisesti aiemmalla vesibussilla. Pysy reiteillä, sillä niiden ulkopuolella on vaarallisia rakenteita, jyrkänteitä ja paikkoja, jotka uhkaavat sortua! Pidäthän erityisesti huolta lapsista. Retkellä on säävaraus myrskyn varalta, sadesäällä mennään lyhyempi reitti. Ohjaajana toimii Lapinlahden Lähteen Kaupunkiluontokeskuksen koordinaattori/ohjaaja Ilona Rautiainen. Let’s go and have a relaxed and memorable trip in Vallisaari! Vallisaari, the neighbor of Suomenlinna Sea Fortress, is a mysterious place that charms with its historical sights and gorgeous landscapes, various services and natural diversity. Out of the approx. 100-hectare archipelago, 80 hectares are a nature reserve. The trip is planned especially for the elderly but everyone is welcome to join by signing up. The main purpose of the trip is to enjoy nature in friendly company. We will walk at a gentle pace without rushing.

PLEASE NOTE! Advance registration is required for this event that opens 3.8. at 9:00. You can register 1-2 people by filling out the form under the event on the Lapinlahden Lähde website. Cancellations must be made as early as possible by emailing [email protected]. Not cancelling will result in not being allowed to participate in the next trip. You can join the queue by email.

NOTE! You have to pay the waterbus to Vallisaari yourself: the return fare is 9,80€ for adults, 6,80€ for special groups (children 7-17 years, students, pensioners, unemployed, military and civilian service personnel). You can buy the ticket in advance from the JT line webshop or at the waterbus. The trip itself is free of charge.

We meet at 15:15 AT THE LATEST in Kauppatori by the JT line waterbus dock. The waterbus to Vallisaari leaves at 15:30 at Kauppatori’s Kolera pool dock number 10. Exact spot in Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/FiB7BSiRNepYETjV8 Strömma and Royal Line cruises leave from the same dock or the ones next to it, there are also traditional vending stands close. There might be a lot of people there so it’s good to come early, so that you can find the right dock. The guide is near the dock at around 15 with a sign.

We start the trip in Vallisaari by the Luotsipiha dock. The waterbus ride there takes about 20 minutes. Please email us if you are coming to the trip in a wheelchair or with prams, in which case we get off at Torpedolahti/Torpedo Bay dock. After a short briefing, we will explore Vallisaari and Kuninkaansaari along marked routes at a relaxed pace. The route is around 5 km, but you can choose to skip the Kuninkaansaari section (around 1,4 km). The official part of the trip ends at the Torpedolahti pier, from where we’ll board the last waterbus at 20:00 to Kauppatori. You may also leave on an earlier waterbus independently. Stay on the trails, as there are dangerous structures, cliffs and places that threaten to collapse! Please take special care of children. The trip is weather-dependent in the event of a storm; in rainy weather, we will take a shorter route. The trip will be guided by Lapinlahden Lähde City Nature Center coordinator/instructor Ilona Rautiainen. Please bring weather-appropriate clothing, footwear and snacks.
